Firefighters in San Bernardino County found themselves running to safety after encountering a massive, boulder-filled mudslide barreling towards them Sunday.
KTLA learned that crews left their station in the Forest Falls area after hearing a loud noise. They were checking things out when they turned and ran.
A video captured they were trying to outrun the fast-moving debris field racing down the hill, taking out trees and anything in its path.
They were not injured. But, they won't be leaving the area until the road is passable.
